The My Ching Tour

Bonus Feature

As a bonus feature My Ching has a password manager that can be used to keep track of all your Internet passwords. The manager is accessed via the Passwords menu and operates in a very similar way to the Journals menu. The menu lists all your password journals and has some options to add a new one or delete existing ones. Naturally these journals are always encrypted and use a stronger form of encryption than regular private journals. (See 128 bit versus 256 bit encryption keys)

Password Entries

Creating a password journal entry is the same as creating regular journal entries. First you select a journal from the Passwords menu and then click on the new entry button on the search tab. The password notes input box has various standard headings already entered for you.

Encryption Details

The Data Privacy section contains details of how the entries are encrypted.

Password Search

You can search through all your passwords exactly as you would with regular My Ching journals. When you are viewing an entry you can also navigate to the next search result using the hidden buttons to the left or right of the main title. Keyboard shortcut is Alt-Left Arrow or Alt-Right Arrow.
